Bappenas, UNDP, and Denmark Collaboration

​On February 24th 2020, the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Denmark  launched a new initiative to support the development of Indonesia’s first national strategy on circular economy, a new economic model that can further boost growth, create new jobs and address climate change at the same time

PRESIDENTIAL REGULATION
NO.97/2017 ON JAKSTRANAS

​Stated in JAKSTRANAS, Indonesia has set its target of 30% waste reduction and 70% waste handling by 2025, setting a tone that embodies the principle of the circular economy

​The circular economy holds promise for achieving the 17 goals and associated 169 targets as it is increasingly being adopted as framework for the sustainability initiative
